Sulaiman Baba-Ali Condoles Ebaiya and Other Bereaved Families in Lokoja

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Gabi Sayadi of Lokoja, Hon. Sulaiman Baba-Ali, has paid condolence visits to several bereaved families in Lokoja, offering prayers and support following recent losses in the community.

Hon. Baba-Ali visited Hon. Tijjani Shehu Bin Ebaiya at his family residence in Karaworo Street, expressing sympathy over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Amina Ebaiya.

Hon. Ebaiya represents Lokoja I State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly.

The late Hajiya Amina Ebaiya, who died at the age of 86, was laid to rest on Wednesday in accordance with Islamic rites, with family members, friends, and political associates gathering to pray for her soul.

During the visit, Hon. Baba-Ali described the death of a mother as a profound loss, not only to the family but also to the wider community that benefited from her guidance and kindness.

He prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, while also asking for strength and patience for the bereaved family.

He encouraged the family to remain steadfast in faith, noting that prayers and good deeds are the most meaningful gifts a living family can offer the departed.

Hon. Ebaiya thanked Hon. Baba-Ali and his entourage for their visit and prayers, emphasizing that the show of solidarity from friends, political associates, and sympathizers had brought comfort during this difficult period.

While at the Ebaiya residence, special prayers were offered for Hon. Baba-Ali by Islamic clerics, led by Sheikh Arif Yabagi, seeking blessings, good health, and continued guidance in his service to the community.

In addition to the Ebaiya family, Hon. Baba-Ali also paid condolence visits to the families of the late Hamisu Shaibu Ohimozi in Karaworo and Musa Ibrahim in Kabawa.

During these visits, he offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased, commended their contributions to their communities, and encouraged their families to remain steadfast in faith.

Top politicians accompanying Hon. Baba-Ali joined in prayers and shared memories of the deceased, highlighting their positive impact on the Lokoja community.

Several community leaders and elders also participated, offering words of comfort and support to the bereaved families.

Hon. Baba-Ali emphasized that such visits are not only a mark of respect for the departed but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds of unity and compassion within the community.

The bereaved families expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Baba-Ali, his entourage, and other sympathizers, acknowledging that the visits and prayers had provided immense consolation and reinforced the spirit of togetherness in Lokoja.
