Madarasatul Isah Kutepa At-Tizkariah Al-Islamiyya on Saturday held its Maulud Nabiyi and Walimatul Qur’an ceremony at the school hall, drawing Islamic scholars, community leaders, parents, and well-wishers from across Lokoja.
The ceremony was formerly declared open by the Imam of Angwan Kura Mosque, Sheikh Abubakar Adam, who commended the school for its sustained commitment to Islamic education and moral upbringing.
He urged the students to continue to uphold the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and emulate the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in their daily lives.
Dignitaries present at the event praised the management and teachers of the institution for their dedication to nurturing disciplined, morally upright, and knowledgeable students.
They also congratulated the graduating students on their perseverance and successful completion of their Qur’anic studies.
Speaking at the event, the School Director, Sheikh Yahya Abubilat, commended the teachers and students for their commitment and dedication.
He appreciated the dignitaries and parents who graced the occasion, describing their presence as a source of encouragement to the school.
The ceremony also witnessed the graduation of ten students who successfully completed the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
Special prayers were offered for peace, unity, and progress in Lokoja, Kogi State, and Nigeria at large, as well as for Allah’s continued guidance and success for the school and its students.
The colourful ceremony featured Qur’anic recitations, Islamic exhortations, and goodwill messages from parents and guardians, marking another milestone in the school’s efforts to promote sound Islamic learning and values within the community.
