Madarasatul Isah Kutepa At-Tizkariah Al-Islamiyya, Lokoja, has announced plans to hold its annual Maulud Nabiyi and Walimatul Qur’an ceremony on Friday, 31st January 2026.

According to the organisers, the religious programme is scheduled to commence promptly at 9:30am and will take place at the Isah Kutepa Central Mosque, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The event is expected to feature melodious Qur’anic recitations, Islamic lectures, and special prayers for peace, unity, and development of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The Walimatul Qur’an segment will celebrate students of the Madarasah who have successfully completed the recitation and memorisation of the Holy Qur’an.

The Maulud Nabiyi aspect of the programme will focus on the life, teachings, and noble character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), with Islamic scholars expected to remind the faithful of the importance of love, tolerance, humility, and obedience to Allah as exemplified by the Prophet.

The management of the Madarasah noted that the annual gathering also serves as a platform to strengthen Islamic values among youths, encourage parents to support Qur’anic education, and foster unity within the Muslim Ummah in Lokoja.

Parents, guardians, Islamic organisations, traditional leaders, and members of the general public are cordially invited to grace the occasion and share in the spiritual blessings of the event.

The organisers further called on well-meaning individuals and philanthropists to continue supporting the Madarasah in its efforts to sustain quality Islamic education and moral upbringing for children within the community.
