Family of Late Imam Ashafa, Abdulrahman Naibul Khair Express Deep Gratitude After 17th Maulid Nabiyy, Fidau Prayers

The family of the late Imam Muhammad Ashafa and late Abdulrahman Naibul Khair has expressed heartfelt appreciation to clerics, relatives, friends and well-wishers who honoured the 17th Maulid Nabiyy 2026 and Fidau Prayers organised in their memory.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Dr. Rajab A. Naibi thanked all those who attended the religious events, noting that their presence, prayers, support and contributions played a significant role in making the occasion successful and memorable.

According to him, the massive turnout from within and outside the community reflected the respect and love the late scholars earned during their lifetime, while also strengthening the bonds of unity and brotherhood among the people.

Dr. Naibi specifically commended the Maigari of Lokoja and Ejeh of Dekina, Islamic scholars and preachers who delivered lectures during the Maulid Nabiyy, describing their sermons as enlightening and spiritually uplifting, particularly in reminding the faithful of the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

He also appreciated traditional rulers, community leaders, youth groups and women organisations for their cooperation and orderly conduct throughout the programme, which he said contributed greatly to the peaceful atmosphere recorded during the events.

“We are truly grateful for all your prayers, support and contributions, which have significantly helped make the event successful and memorable,” he said.

Dr. Naibi further prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) rewards all participants abundantly, accepts their acts of worship and grants them journey mercies back to their respective destinations.

He added that the family remains committed to upholding the religious values, scholarship and legacies of the late Imam Muhammad Ashafa and Abdulrahman Naibul Khair, urging the younger generation to continue to embrace knowledge, piety and service to humanity.

He concluded by once again thanking everyone for standing with the family during the period of remembrance, saying, “Jazakallahu Khair. Ma’assalaam.”
