Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended warm New Year greetings to Nigerians, expressing optimism for a more prosperous and fulfilling year ahead.
In a goodwill message to mark the beginning of 2026, Meseko wished Nigerians a joyful and prosperous New Year, noting that the new year comes with renewed hope and fresh opportunities for national rebirth. He said 2026 should be embraced as a season for reflection, recommitment and collective progress.
The APC chieftain urged citizens to remain united irrespective of political, ethnic or religious differences, stressing that national cohesion remains the bedrock for sustainable development. According to him, Nigeriaâs strength lies in its diversity, which must be harnessed positively to achieve shared national goals.
Meseko commended Nigerians for their resilience in the face of economic and social challenges, describing their perseverance as a key driver of national stability. He expressed confidence that with patience, hard work and collective responsibility, the country would witness improved socio-economic conditions in the year ahead.
He also reaffirmed the commitment of the APC-led government to people-oriented policies and reforms aimed at economic recovery, job creation, security enhancement and infrastructural development. He assured that the party remains focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians at all levels.
The APC spokesperson called on youths to channel their energy into productive ventures, innovation and nation-building, while encouraging leaders at all levels to govern with integrity, transparency and compassion.
Meseko concluded by wishing Nigerians a year filled with peace, success and cherished moments, urging them to remain hopeful and supportive of efforts geared towards building a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria in 2026.
