The Lokoja Forum of Patriots (LFP) has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Majesty Alhaji (Dr.) Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi III, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a unifying leader whose reign has continued to promote peace, cultural preservation, and development in the ancient city.
In a goodwill message signed by the LFP Chairman, Alhaji Idris Baba’Ango, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, the Forum praised the monarch for his exemplary leadership, noting that Lokoja has continued to enjoy stability and harmonious coexistence under his guidance.
The statement described the Maigari as a “father to all,” whose humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people have earned him deep respect across the state.
It added that the monarch’s influence extends beyond traditional matters, as he consistently champions social cohesion, youth engagement, and peaceful dialogue among communities.
According to the Forum, the Maigari’s leadership style has played a significant role in enhancing cooperation between the traditional institution and government agencies, resulting in improved security vigilance, conflict resolution, and community sensitisation in the state capital.
The Lokoja Forum of Patriots also commended the royal father for his steadfast support for cultural values and indigenous heritage, which they said has strengthened identity and promoted unity among indigenes and residents alike.
They noted that his advocacy for education, particularly for young people, has inspired several youth-focused initiatives within Lokoja.
The group prayed for long life, sound health, and divine guidance for the monarch, expressing confidence that his reign will continue to usher in progress, peace, and collective prosperity for the ancient city.
The Forum further encouraged residents of Lokoja to join in celebrating the revered traditional ruler, acknowledging his lifelong contributions to peacebuilding, community development, and the preservation of the historical relevance of Nigeria’s confluence city.
They reaffirmed their commitment to partnering with the traditional institution in promoting peace, unity, and sustainable development across Lokoja and its environs.
