The family of the late political icon and former Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu, has extended heartfelt appreciation to all dignitaries, supporters, and well-wishers who attended the 10th memorial anniversary of their late patriarch.
The event, held at the Audu country home in Ogbonicha, Ofu Local Government Area, witnessed a massive turnout of political leaders, traditional rulers, religious figures, friends, associates, and community members who gathered to honor the legacy of the late statesman.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Prince Shaibu Abubakar Audu, the Minister of Steel Development, expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support shown over the years since the passing of Prince Audu, noting that the continuous love demonstrated reflects the lasting impact of his leadership.
“We deeply appreciate everyone who travelled from far and near to celebrate the life and contributions of our father, the late Prince Abubakar Audu. Your presence has strengthened us and reaffirmed the respect and admiration the public still holds for him,” he stated.
