The National Coordinator of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”, Chief Richard Asaje has initiated a very wonderful exercise to facilitate PVC registration for residents of remote villages in the “Area Council of Yagba West LG of Kogi State, a powered by Hon Leke Abejide.
Political leaders in the Area Council of Yagba West LG converged in Odo -Ere , yesterday 6/9/2025 at the De Light Hotel, in preparation to mobilise people of the Area Council to take advantage of the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration.
According to Chief Asaje in his opening address, the decision of Hon Leke Abejide to partnered with political leaders in the Area Council to ensure that the people participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration is to take ownership of our future, strengthen our democracy, and give voice to the change we desire for Yagba land, kogi State and Nigeria at large.
The PVC is the only weapon you have to say No to whom you feel is not capable to lead you or to be your leader, Asaje said.
Speaking further, he urged the leaders of ADC ward exco’s , community leaders,arrow head’s in the meeting to make sure that everybody especially the youths participate in the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration because they are leaders of tomorrow and any bad choice can adversrily them,he stressed.
They have the populations which can be taken advantage to vote out any unwanted leader, he said.
During the meeting, they deployed different strategies to get potential voters to registered with the INEC .
Residents of the “Area Council were urged to maximize the window of opportunity of the ongoing Permanent voters card registration to get their PVC and get set for the coming general elections,Asaje exclaimed.
Chief Asaje therefore implore the people in the Area Council to work towards having a higher numbers of voters registration, stating that Late Prince Abubakar Audu will say “Where is your result” .
