A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Lokoja local government area of Kogi State, Hon. Bala Justice, has staged a career talks to mark the end of a free summer academic coaching class he organized for Secondary and Primary School students of the Lokoja Local Government covering Wards A,B,C,D and E.
Over 2,000 pieces of exercise books and other learning materials were equally distributed to the beneficiaries of the coaching exercise.
The event was held today at Islamiya Primary School Kabawa in Lokoja.
Best students from each community were also awarded WAEC and JAMB scholarships. while 30 others offered cash.
It could be recalled that Hon. Bala Justice launched a free summer coaching class for secondary and primary school students across the wards to refresh students academic during the holiday.
The occasion was witnessed by representative of Maigari of Lokoja top politicians, Hakimis and parents.
Speaking at the event, Honourable Justice urged the students to prepare themselves against the future challenges through academic dedication and commitment.
He said “The free summer class is just the tip of the iceberg. By next year, I will give priority to education by ensuring students are qualitatively engaged. For this summer class, we engaged over 2,000 students”

He said he was motivated by the number and would do everything possible to keep the programme up and that he would accommodate more students in the next edition.
Expressing his gratitude to the politician, the Hakim, Alhaji Abdukadir Nda Yahaya noted that the programme took the students off the street and inculcate reading culture in them and called on others to emulate Hon. Bala Justice.
One of the participants, Umar Bello, who appreciated the gesture, assured that they would make the benefactor proud in the future.
