Leaders of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”, has again condemned a misleading dissemination of information from some quarters on the recent visit of Hon Hassan Sado, member elect for Okura State Constituency in Kogi State, noting that it is the hand work of disgruntled elements to
manipulate public opinion and persuade people to adopt a particular political agenda or view point by some quarters.
In an interactive session with political pundits at the palace of Chief Richard Asaje in Obajana, Kogi State, today 25/8/2025, Asaje stressed that the most salient aspect of propaganda is often intellectually derided or at least regularly dismissed.
According to him, FGYB has only advised and charged Hon Hassan Sado to engage collaboratively and work together to build on the successes of the incumbent administration’s first two years in office,he said.
Hon Hassan Sado have been carefully and painstakingly chosen, the spirit of cooperation and collaboration with Kogi State House Assembly, and Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo is one that we must continue to build on. Achieving this requires everyone to engage and to collaborate,he opined.
Speaking further, Chief Asaje urged Hon Hassan Sado to work assiduously with Governor Ododo using the “Consolidation Agenda” in bringing the dividends of democracy to the people of Okura State Constituency and the State at large.
In a statement, Asaje emphasized that the role of a leader is to caution anyone,guide and direct his subjects to achieve the set goal,” APC victory in any election .Leaders are to make peace, team work is a combined effort to reach a singular goal,” he said.
As an elder statesman, and one of FGYB loyalist,he seeks advice from me,if I dem it feat,l tell him and he listens to me.. Leave FGYB alone and don’t use his words to rubbish him.. This is a terrible low even for professional propagandists.., he exclaimed.
That FGYB is dictating to the member elect not to perform his assigned duties,@ “Like Minds”,we reject such feelings in totality..No bickering between Executive/Legislature .
For the APC party to win in all contest in the State,let appreciates FGYB for putting the party in advantageous position through his people centered policies.Yahaya Bello is leading from the front, and any force trying to pull him down shall be silence forever.
The victory of Hon Hassan Sado is a result of team-work of the leaders and party faithful across board.
Asaje urged the member elect for Okura State Constituency to be responsive to the plights of his constituents and carry out all his legislative functions effectively.
Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo had achieved a lot in its first two years in office through the “Consolidation Agenda”, and we are proud of him.
Chief Asaje therefore charged Hon Hassan Sado to be humble enough to listen and learn, and take the people closer to the dream of a “Greater Kogi”.
