2027: Re-election of Tinubu, Ododo will consolidate gains and drive progress – Kogi NULGE President

The Kogi State President, Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, Comr. Sanusi Mohammed says the re-election of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo will help consolidate on the gains thus far made and drive progress in Nigeria and Kogi State.

Comr. Sanusi made the disclosure at the endorsement rally held in Lokoja, expressed satisfaction with the leadership style of President Tinubu and Gov. Ododo.

Speaking at the sidelines of the rally, Comr. Sanusi said: “I stand before you today as the state President of NULGE representing the 21 local government workers to reaffirm our unwavering support for the re-election of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027”.

“President Tinubu’s policies have strengthened our economy, improved infrastructure and enhanced security, His commitment to democratic values and inclusively is commendable”.

“Governor Ododo’s leadership style in Kogi State has brought about transfortive charges from infrastructure development to educational, security and health care advancement. His dedication to the welfare of kogi citizens is evident”.

“Their leadership has been exemplary with a clear vision for a prosperous Nigeria and Kogi state under their guidance. We have witnessed significant progress and development especially to the local government workers”.

“The achievements of His Excellency to the local government workers in kogi state is as follows; Approval of N72,500.00 to local government workers as the National minimum wage. Prompt payment of 100% salary as at when due, ensuring financial stability for local government workers”.

Furthermore, the suspension of Tax on minimum wage for 24 months, has reduced the tax burden on workers. We cannot but commend the Up- to- date promotion and decentralised promotion venue for the workers”.

” We are grateful for the Inclusion of local government workers in the kogi state Health Insurance scheme. Inclusion of Labour leaders in his administration to foster collaboration and dialogue between government and Labour. Payment of leave bonuses to local government workers, bolstering their morales and productivity”.

“We commend president Tinubu and Governor Ododo for their visionary leadership and commitment to worker’s welfare”.

“We believe that their re- election in 2027 will further consolidate these gains and drive progress. We pledge our support and collective effort to ensure their re- election and give them another chance to build on their achievements for a brighter future for Nigeria and kogi state”, the President disclosed.
